Both glasses are well built and popular, but they solve different problems. The Even G2 answers: “How do I get information into my field of view without looking at my phone?” The Ray-Ban Meta answers: “How do I hands-free record what I see, and listen to music while doing it?” The choice isn't about technical superiority, but about your use case.
The privacy difference
One point that goes beyond the spec sheet: the Even G2 deliberately has no camera. For wearers and for those around them, it's immediately clear that nothing is being filmed — relevant in the office, in meetings, in sensitive environments. The Ray-Ban Meta, on the other hand, offers recording features with a recording light; if you want to film, you can, but you have to consider your surroundings. The Even G2 weighs 35 g per the manufacturer. For the Ray-Ban Meta we currently have no documented weight (n/a) — as soon as it's available, we'll add it to the database.
Why don't you just recommend the Even G2 you sell?
