UltraFit: prescription lenses made for the G2
The Even G2 projects its display into your eye through the lenses — which is why ordinary optician's lenses do not work here. UltraFit prescription lenses are matched precisely to the G2's optics: they correct your vision while preserving the full quality of the holographic display. The result is a pair of glasses you wear from morning to night — with everything the G2 can do, and the sharpness your eyes need.
Versions and prices
UltraFit lenses come in two constructions, each in three versions — the difference lies in lens thinness, coating and visual comfort:
- Single-vision lenses — for short- or long-sightedness: Standard CHF 169.–, Premium CHF 249.–, Elite CHF 359.–
- Varifocal lenses — seamless vision from near to far: Standard CHF 799.–, Premium CHF 899.–, Elite CHF 999.–
- Prism correction — if required: surcharge CHF 50.–
All prices include VAT and are in addition to the Even G2 (CHF 699.–). We clarify which version makes sense for your values and your everyday life during a personal consultation — not every expensive option is necessary for every prescription.
How you get your lenses
Prescription lenses are made to measure — which is why ordering goes through a personal consultation rather than a shopping basket:
- Book an appointment: by phone on 078 422 46 73, by email at sales@ai-eyewear.ch or via the contact form.
- Bring your values: your current spectacle prescription or lens passport. If the values are older, we recommend having a measurement taken at your optician or ophthalmologist beforehand.
- Fit and order: in the showroom you choose the form and colour of the G2, we record your values and order the UltraFit lenses to a precise fit.
Good to know
Individually manufactured prescription lenses are excluded from exchange — which makes careful advice beforehand all the more important (see terms and conditions). Manufacture takes from a few days to a few weeks depending on the version; we keep you up to date on the status. And should your prescription change later: the G2's lenses can be replaced, the glasses stay.
Standard, Premium or Elite — which is worth it for whom?
The three versions differ above all in lens thinness and coating. A rule of thumb from our consultations: for mild prescriptions the Standard version almost always does everything you need. The higher the dioptre values, the more you benefit from Premium or Elite — the thinner lenses stay light and elegant even with a stronger correction, without disturbing the clean line of the G2. With varifocals, visual comfort comes into play too: wider viewing zones in the higher versions mean less head movement and quicker adaptation, especially if the G2 is your first pair of varifocals.
Our advice is deliberately independent of the price list: anyone who will be happy with Standard is recommended Standard. A pair of glasses you wear every day does not forgive the wrong compromises — in either direction.
