Yes, smart glasses with prescription exist – and the Even G2 is the most consistent of them. It is not patched up with clip-in inserts but glazed like a fine prescription frame: UltraFit lenses in Japanese Mitsui MR™ material, single vision or progressive, calculated for the optics of the holographic display.
The display stays visible to you alone, the glasses weigh 35 grams, and from the outside they look like a very good frame. You order at our Zurich showroom with your complete prescription; nothing else is needed.

Clarity, zero distortion
98 % light transmission and no distortion: the lens stays a lens, the display stays invisible until you need it.
Three high-index options
From Essential Slim (1.60) to Superior Slim (1.74): the thinnest and clearest lenses, matched to your prescription. The centre of each lens is 30 % slimmer, the edges thinner still.
Coatings
UV filter and anti-reflective protection with over 100 microscopically thin layers. They maximise light transmission and reduce the reflections others would otherwise see.

Why clip-ins fail
Nobody wears a second pair
all day long.
Smart glasses only deliver value if you wear them always. That is exactly where most correction solutions fail: a clip-in sits as a second layer behind the frame, shifts the distance to your eye, collects dust between the layers and turns an elegant pair into a makeshift one.
The Even G2 goes the other way round. It is a pair of glasses first and smart second – which is why your values go where they belong: into the lens itself.

Even Realities integrates an ultra-thin waveguide directly into your prescription lenses. These credit-card-thin, multi-layer lenses deliver perfect vision with an integrated display: 98 % light transmission, no distortion. Your correction is calculated precisely for this light path, with UltraFit: digitally surfaced free-form lenses, diamond-cut, exceptionally clear right to the edges.

Your lenses are made individually – usually a few weeks. At collection we set up the glasses, the app and, if you wish, the R1 together with you.

A complete prescription from your optician or ophthalmologist already contains everything your lenses need: sphere, cylinder, axis, addition and pupillary distance. We take those values one to one.
No additional appointment, no preparation. You bring the prescription, choose frame and colour – and your lenses go into production. The whole appointment is done in half an hour.

about prescription.
Are there smart glasses with prescription lenses?
Yes. The Even G2 is glazed with real corrective lenses – not clip-in inserts. UltraFit lenses come as single vision (from CHF 169) and progressive (from CHF 799), made from Japanese Mitsui MR™ material and calculated for the holographic display.
Do AI glasses come with prescription?
Most do not. Camera glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta can be glazed but show no display. Display glasses usually rely on clip-in inserts. The Even G2 is one of the few made as a full prescription pair with a display – progressives included.
Which prescriptions are possible?
Sphere −12.00 to +12.00 dpt, cylinder up to −4.00 dpt, progressive addition +0.50 to +4.00 dpt, PD 54–78 mm. Prism up to 5 (+CHF 50). We check your values before ordering.
Is the G2 available with progressive lenses?
Yes, in three tiers from CHF 799 to 999, display-optimised. A 60-day wearer guarantee applies: if you do not adapt to the progressives, we exchange them for single-vision or plano lenses.
Is it suitable for screen work with progressives?
Yes. The G2 display appears at a fixed, comfortable viewing distance and works with the progressives you are used to. If you spend a lot of time at a screen, have your optician or eye doctor note that on your prescription – we implement it accordingly.
What is the total cost?
Frame CHF 699 plus lenses: single vision CHF 169 / 249 / 359 by index, progressive CHF 799 to 999. Example: G2 with standard single-vision lenses = CHF 868 including VAT and case.
What has to be on the prescription?
A complete prescription from an optician or ophthalmologist: sphere, cylinder and axis for both eyes, plus the addition for progressives and the pupillary distance. Ideally no older than about two years. We do not re-measure – we take your values directly.
Can I keep my existing glasses?
You will not need them for everyday use: the G2 replaces your prescription pair entirely. Many keep their old frame as a spare – a personal choice, not a necessity.
How long does manufacturing take?
UltraFit lenses are made individually, usually within a few weeks. We give you the exact timeframe when your values are recorded.
Is there a sunglasses option with prescription?
Yes – the magnetic sun clip (CHF 99) simply sits in front of your corrective lenses. You get sunglasses in your prescription without paying for a second lens.
Do the lenses protect against UV and blue light?
Every G2 lens carries a UV400 coating (full UV protection), a scratch-resistant antistatic finish and a basic blue-light filter.
Do you advise outside Zurich?
Gladly – by phone for all of Switzerland: 078 234 41 77 (English · Italiano) or 078 422 46 73 (Deutsch · English). You can send us your prescription by e-mail in advance; at the showroom you then only try on the frame.
Which lens index should I choose?
Even Realities recommends three high-index options: Essential Slim (1.60) for light to moderate corrections (SPH about +2.00 to −3.00), Enhanced Slim (1.67) for moderate to strong corrections (SPH about +4.00 to −6.00) and Superior Slim (1.74), the thinnest and lightest lens, for strong corrections. We look at your prescription with you and recommend the right index.
Can I get the Even G2 with progressives online?
No. Even Realities offers progressive lenses only through local partners, not in its online store. That is exactly what we are here for: bring your complete prescription including the addition, we order your progressive G2 and set it up with you.
How is it different from ordinary glasses from an optician?
From the outside, not at all: magnesium frame, titanium temples, 35 grams, real corrective lenses. The difference is inside the lens: an ultra-thin waveguide is integrated into the multi-layer, credit-card-thin lens and shows a display only you can see. Others see a good pair of glasses.
