Context
Why prices
differ so much.
Selective distribution. Even Realities sells the G2 through its own online store and through authorised local partners. The store charges in euros and ships from abroad; according to the maker, progressive lenses are available only from partners. This is a product you put on before you buy, and one that wants setting up afterwards.
Marketplaces. On Galaxus, third-party sellers offer the G2 with their own pricing, delivery times and warranty handling. On the reference date those offers ranged from CHF 899 to 1,089, depending on frame and colour.
EU import. Online stores in the EU show prices without Swiss import VAT and without customs handling fees. The final invoice is higher than the listed price, and the warranty sits abroad.
