Why the glasses sit crooked — and why that is normal
Human faces are rarely symmetric. On most people one ear sits slightly higher than the other, often by a few millimetres, sometimes visibly. A pair of glasses rests on three points: the nose and the two ears. When the two rear rest points are at different heights, the frame tilts a little — not because it is badly built, but because it is following an asymmetric head. On classic prescription glasses hardly anyone but you notices; it is a purely cosmetic detail that any optician smooths out in minutes.
We say this plainly because many prospective buyers read a crooked seat as a product fault and mentally return the glasses before they have even been adjusted. That is like returning a car because the seat is still set for the last person.
Why it matters a little more on a display glasses

What you should not do is bend the temples yourself. Even explicitly advises against bending them by hand, and for good reason — the temples carry electronics and hinges that a rough living-room correction can damage. A crooked seat is a ten-minute appointment; a broken temple is a repair job. Honest limits
A fitting reliably sorts out an ordinary ear asymmetry. With more pronounced differences it can take a second appointment before the seat stays quiet over hours — that is normal, not a setback.
